TOM ROWE
Tom Rowe is a multi-instrumental musician with over 40 years of professional experience. He currently performs as an oboist with the Harrisburg Symphony, where he has played under three music directors.
He has taught master classes at Dickinson College, Lebanon Valley College, and Messiah University for Baroque oboe and recorder in Early Music performance practice. He has also given master classes in Traditional Irish music.
His work with the HSO is archived on the Masterworks Concert Audio series available to Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra Patrons. Rowe also plays the Uilleann bagpipes, the recorder, and the Irish whistle. Rowe has performed live with Ronan Tynan of The Irish Tenors. He has also appeared with Celtic Thunder.
